Boxburg

Here's another odd weekend that I got to witness. City Crushing Monster Party. This is the second year of it. I think Dreya is the instigator. It's pretty self explanatory but hard to believe so I will tell you a bit about it. For about a month Dreya and friends collected boxes, for about a month they turned them into buildings. Lots of buildings. It reminded me of elementary school. Then we had a gathering of monsters.

Boxburg was set up in Shores' car port. Of the attending we had, Gothzilla - special move: the crushing darkness of angst and despair. Dogzilla, Jewzilla, Passive Aggressive Bear "Oh, I just came to hang out," Insectasoraus, The Tyranical Trench coated Ten Tenticalled Terror, Ger, Stay Puff Marshmallow, Freddy Mack and Fanny Mae, and Robo Zeus. Just for a few.

Boxberg had everything a town would have, modern architecture, the ticky tacky suburb, school, several churches, seedy hotel, industrial district, train, water towers, gas station, and of course lots of sky scrapers.

I think the city was destroyed in less then 10 minutes, and then the monsters used the skyscrapers to beat each other. There was even a little bat practice. All in all it was highly entertaining, done under black lights as the sun went down.
